Have you ever experienced the problem of blocked vanity in the bathroom? What did you do to get rid of this problem? Here I have some tips that may solve your blocking problem. Actually, the vanity is blocked mainly because some dirt hangs on the pipe. In this case, you may pour a pot of boiling water on the surface of the sink and let it flow into the pipe. It would be more convenient if there’s a water heater set up in the bathroom. You just need to turn on hot water and rinse the outlet. In summer, rinsing for 2-3 minutes is enough while in winter, you may rinse for a longer time. Think twice when you plan to open the drainage on your own because it may damage the sealant pad inside and lead to leakage in the future. A water extractor or toilet plunger would also be a good idea. When using a water extractor, make sure that the lower mouth of it is sealed by water. Press the water extractor to the drainage and the dirty stuff will be brought out easily when you pull it up. Repeat the action if the dirty stuff is relatively enormous. However, if the vanity is under a very serious blocking situation, you may actually shake the pipe dredger to clear the pipe. Turn the screw counter clockwise first, pull out the spring, put it into the sewer pipe and poke it into the obstacle. Then pull out the spring by about 10 cm and tighten the screw. After installing the handle, apply some pressure, and then loosen the screw after all go in, and pull out the spring by 10 cm. When you do this repeatedly and feel that the handle is very relaxed, it indicates that you have passed through some obstacles. At this time, gently pull up the spring and now the pipe is clear.
